Anyone currently own one?? Have a couple of questions regarding operating costs. In particular the yanmar powered versions.

Thanks

I reckon 10L per 100hp at cruise is a good guess

Just got all the info from an ex charter operator. Around 60l/ hr at 20-21 kts, and 70 l/ hr at 25kts.
Thanks for the private msg guys.

I'm not having a go here, but my guess is that no matter what size the boat, fuel is still the cheapest thing you ever put in to it!
I've got a mate with a 32' charter boat that burns roughly the figures you mention and the maintainence and upkeep are more than fuel cost. He does keep it schmik though.
Good luck with the Black watch, they sure are a sweet rig.

Fishard, I am very aware of the actual costs of such a boat, I currently own a similar sized, moored boat. I was after some info on the direct running costs of the yanmar powered version. There's a lot of different powered versions out there, and with that there's some big differences in actual running costs. ( for example the Volvo 260 hp ones actually burn a lot more fuel, and are very expensive to maintain.)
Thanks to the guys who MSG me, I now have what I was after.

Trent.
