I've searched the forum and found no existing threads. My question is, what other boats make a similar hull like the Cruisecraft explorer. Do haines have an equivalent model?

I really like the Cruisecraft explorer's every since I did my bar course with Bill. However looking at prices, it seems to be for the boat, you're buying the brand.

Many thanks in advance!

Great in bars etc - safe and low speed planing. They dont cut through the short chop like some other brands from my limited experience of them.

Try a Haines Signature 575F. Plenty of fishing room, smallish cabin and rides better than a Bruisecraft. Dont know about price so a good second hand Explorer may be on the cards.

I would second Duckfish's comments. The 575F is the replacement to the 580F. I had a look through the 575F at the factory the other week and it is awesome. I tried to get the same fuel tank that they install into the 575 installed into mine but unfortunately not enough height clearance. Cruisecraft and Signature stand behind their product 100% as I have found out right at this moment. I have viewed a 05 model Explorer getting some serious work done, all paid by the factory as well, only a couple of months ago while down at a reapairer that we use.
Certainly have piece of mind with either of these builders. Jim

Not sure there is any cost savings when buying either a Haines v's Cruisecraft though, when you compare model sizes that is.
IE 575F v 575 Explorer.
Second hand might be the go. But both hold there resale value which is a good thing.

Bills boat is a 685 explorer. A 575 Haines is a much smaller boat. The 675 Haines Signature or 680 HH would be the closest to compare.
