I am thinking of fitting 4 cup holders to the boat, but would want them easily removable for fishing days. Have seen the Tallon Systems Starter at Bias on sale and am thinking of getting these. If they are good, I may extend to adding a removable table as well.

Before I go drilling big (50mm) holes in the boat, does anyone have real life experience with them? Do they hold up well over the years? I am sick of these ones breaking

I bought a few of the neopreen type from Tackleworld - they have a plastic skirt on the bottom which forms a [good] suction to any flat surface. YOu then sort of slide them off or peel the skirt up to release the vacuum. They work really well, won't break and you can put them anywhere flat - gunnel, esky top, top of the side console etc etc. Then when you dopnt need them, just chuck em in a side pocket or under your console etc.

######## have them here (http://www.########.com.au/fishing/dvd-books-and-gifts/stubby-holders/the-sucker-3100312.html)

hmm - seems the company in question is blocked. M.O.Tackle.com.au Sorry Mods, but geeze - a guy can;t point a fellow angler to a good stubby holder?? I don't use the term un-Australian often, but.... :)
