Luke, a couple of questions if I may. What is the length of your rig from the bow sprit to the rear extremity of the motor? Secondly, how much extra did it cost for the swing away draw bar?

The reason I ask is that I am currently in the market for a boat (not the same config as yours - am after a side console or bow rider type setup), but have limited room in the garage - and it HAS to live in the garage, and am trying to figure out what will fit. Dealers havent been exactly helpful with this information.

I will put up another post asking about the pitfalls/hints with swing away draw bars.

Thanks
Greg

Will measure the boat for you next time I go to the shed. Only have positive things to say about the folding drawbar however not sure of the extra cost, dont think it was that much.

Personally I would stay away from a bow rider. Stick to the centre console or side console.

Gday Greg. I bought a 1750 Tournament a year ago. The only way i could fit in the shed was with fold away draw bar. It cost me $800 more than the original bmt package as dunbier had to make from scratch. It works well and only have to tighten/remove one nut and bolt to swing it out of way. Got mine through AMC at Springwood. Mark Nilon was.the salesperson very helpful
