What a waste of time! One small table per section. Fishing had some pflueger reels, laser distance finder $60, night scope good to 80m $100 and some 3 cree led headlights for $30. The rest was crap. One bloke found a Berkeley drop shot with au Garcia reel for $40 was only real bargain. Plenty of shoes if that is your thing. To make matters worse once I found something worth buying there was a black out so couldn't buy it anyway.

I have scored a few decent deals with their post stocktake sales.
They dump stuff they no longer want to stock after stocktake.
I bought my Garmin GPSMAP 276c from one of those sales for $400....reduced from 940. Only one they had been on the shelf for two years.

I went to the Enogerra store mid arvo and was a little underwhelmed. Still walked out with an 406 EPIRB for $70, a couple CREE LED torches for 5 bucks each, a roll of fireline for $10 and some cheap gulps.
Also saw a Diawa SOL 3-6kg rod for $180, and a couple Diawa Advantage baitcasters for $120.

Then went to Morayfield late this arvo for get a PFD for my son. They had things much more orgainised, with the entire middle section of the store (where they usually have tents set up) dedicated to sale items. I got a $150 PFD for $20.
They also had lots of gulp 7" jerk shads for $5 each, and a big box of braids and leaders at good prices.

I detect sarcasm. You dont like getting a discount on products you were going to buy anyway ?

This sale is a bit different - advertised as "below cost" for $8M worth of, well, crap I think. Nothing large or expensive in amongst it at the Logan store - just heaps of clothes and shoes and bits and pieces they couldn't otherwise get rid of. Seemed to be a lot of plastics in the fishing section but I didn't pay much attention. Was hoping for cheap tents or fridges or something like that but nah. Some of the clothes and shoes were probably good deals, if you are looking for that stuff.

Headed to the one in Hobart today, waste of time unless you are after snow gear or shoes. Bugger all fishing stuff on sale and most of that was the Anaconda branded stuff, which is mostly rubbish anyway. Didn't see any rugs either........

Fellow Ausfish member Popgun19 picked up a crab cooker from Anaconda today at the sunshine coast reduced from $180 to $60.
He phoned me and I told him to pick up one for me. Will be good for melting a lot of lead to make 16oz and 12oz droppers.
