View Full Version : Camera On A Pole, Looking to Borrow One Or It And The Operator

I dropped a coupling connector with tap under the boat in about 12 to 15ft / 20ft of canal the other day and would really like to locate it so it could be retrieved.

I’ve done a couple of short free dives but it seems I’m too buoyant without a weight belt even with the wet suit off but more to the point the water clarity seems to be very variable depending on the tide. Combine those issues with the concern about coming up under a barnacle incrusted tube or two and the camera idea has growing appeal!

So if you are on or near the Gold Coast and may be able to help please PM

Thanks

Cheers

What is so special about this exact coupler and hose connection. Can another be purchased easier.

Not sold in Aust. Nice compact effective unit that I'd like to recover.

if you get stuck I have one... 70k's away tho. you would also need your own display or laptop too as my laptop doesn't have a working backlight any longer.

Is that going to display live as you shoot ie as and where the camera is at the time?

I know it down there, I want to see where and watch as the pool net scoops it up!

Hi Chimo. I have a video camera attached to its own screen its has led lights on the camera, the cable allows it to go down to 30 metres, it runs of a 12 volt battery , you might have to attach a pole but the camera is weighted, give us a ring on 56659662, I am at Pacific Pines. John
