Transom bolts on glass boat

Hi all this may be a stupid question but I have lifted my motor and was wondering how tight to do the transom bolts back up

Good question, I had to do mine last week and it occurred to me that there probably is a recommended torque and I assume that it would be in the realm of the engine manufacturer to specify. I have been doing this stuff all my life so I have a pretty good feel for what is adequate without breaking things.
I was just looking quickly and found a mercury spec sheet which may get you in the right direction but you should try and check with your own engines spec if you can find it but I would think that they would all be similar.
