I fitted a Fusion radio ,and Ipod player to my boat so I can listen to a bit of music while I am casting lures and general fishing,I don't have it up loud ,just enough to be heard ,and definitely no doof doof and generally fishing fairly shallow water. Does the noise put the fish off the bite?

Fish lov music, heavy metal, rock & roll and just about anything from the seventy's but no blues, CW or doof doof. Seriously, I have never had a problem, just not to load and i don't play music at night.

I to am looking at a sound system for my boat, care to pm me with the details and cost etc.

When fishing in Utah and the bite was slow we would put on Dixie Chicks and sure enuff we would more often than not get a bite..... Reckon the fish were committing suicide :D

I like the fact that the louder the music, the louder the anchor chain ratling over the side, the louder the fellows talk and they talk some crap especially the reason that they aren't catching fish, then the anchor chain rattling back up again and taking off at 100 miles an hour. nothing like a saturday night at Scarborough reef

Hey Stik, are you fishing the Flatty Classic again this year, maybe this could be your secret weapon!
