Southwind UB 520

Anyone in Rocky or Yeppoon are that owns a UB 520?

I am interested in having a look at one and perhaps going for a ride if anyone is kind enough.

Also, does anyone know the max passengers for these hulls?

Hi Spiderpig, I had a Southern Star UB520 for a while. Great boat for what it was. A lot softer and drier than the poly's. Think mine was max 5 passengers. Seen one in a boat yard at Hervey Bay the other day. I think it was for sale. Make sure you get the Southwind ones as there is no timber in them. Also are you the old username Choc e?

Ok. Softer than the 4.55 poly. Good manners in all sea conditions. Had a 60 four stroke on mine. Fast enough for offshore. Bit slow for calm water work though.
