V-max yamaha

I would like to ask you boys if anyone out there had or own one of this engines.
Would like to know are this engines any good or bad, and what they are like compeering to optimax.

They're a bit thin on the ground over here. I'd be looking at other options, if only for resale value & finding mechanics experienced on them.

I've just recently bought one. It's a 2006 150hp. It only had 38 hours on it when I bought it and its now got 50 hours so its very early days yet.
So far.....
It is smoke free
Has used bugger all oil
Starts instantly
Is smooth running
Is quieter than normal 2 strokes
Is not as smooth and quiet as a Suzuki
It is economical
Has great holeshot
Sounds amazing at flat out

I had a 175 vmax on a 625 Cruisecraft. Did 650 hrs before selling it to buy another boat. I had no dramas with it at all, and got 1.6-1.8km/l out of it. Never had an opti so can't compare but there was nothing wrong with the one I had. Hope that helps....
