Can anyone point me in the right direction for Threadfin lures.
This is what I've been using in the Fitzroy River Rockhampton, the blades in the deeper water, the plastic prawns when fishing the shallows.

I use these as they work amazing on the Yamba School Jew which I think fill a similar ecosystem niche.

Try flasha lures, they work well on blue salmon. Barra jacks and bluefin will have them in stock.

Thready busters are good

I second this. I finally broke the thready curse with a thready buster. Then my mate nailed one on a BigW hardbody no name special at about $12 a pop cheaper! Probably cant win!

I've seen a mate catch everything on transams, but the thready busters are about $10 a pop cheaper from memory.

Cheers

Mann's stretch 10's, Tilsan Barra's, 5" Gulps, SnapBacks, Barra Classics to name a few... They will take just about anything if you put it in front of their nose, hard part is finding them😉
