Second battery

I was going to put a second battery in jet ski. Shouldnt be any different to boat only the room.
Can i put a second battery approx 1.5 metre from main battery and hook up to an isolator switch.
The second battery was going to be put in front hatch.
I was just wondering whether it would be ok with the length of the wires. Is there any problem with this.
They are only 20AH size batteries.

Length of wires on a jet ski won't be an issue , and with fairly low draw wire size won't be an issue either ..don't go the cheap on the isolator , there are a few dodgy ones that don't like moisture much ...

Yeah i thought it would be ok. Just bit of mucking around, but in the hatch would be better.
I had to tow another jet ski home few weeks ago who had a flat battery. Cant pull start them like an outboard.
