Hi all,
I've just purchased a 2008 685 Explorer with 250 verado on a cruisecraft RE230T-EH trailer & can't wait to pick it up next week. Boat has typical cruisecraft options, slide out canopy, spotlights, clears, 310L fuel, 50L fresh water & elect anchor winch, but no trim tabs (they will be one of my 1st projects).
Only info i have been able to find about weight is on the CruiseCraft brochure which states BMT 2700kg (approx).
Trailer compliance plate states Tare of 780kg
Motor compliance plate states 310kg
I was hoping someone might be able to hone on weight a bit closer for me.

I will see if I can find a public weighbridge somewhere in Gladstone.

Cheers Gazza

Congrats, should be a nice boat, a mate is about to take delivery of a new one in a week or so, hope to get a run in it occasionally at least and very much looking forward to that.
But yeah as per the weight, I would be thinking 3000kg + for BMT being more realistic from what I know of them.

Mate there is a weight bridge at the tip near the Southern Tannum Sands turn off. Just south of Benaraby

Hi mate, congrats, you will love the boat!

From a prev post a few months ago a guy with a 685 Exp + 250 Zuke + dunb alloy trailer posted that his was weighed at ~2.33t ( I think bone dry). Sorry, can't remember the poster.
My 685 O/s + 250 3.3L yam + alloy skid trailer is 2.47t bone dry but incl safety gear. For std gal trailer add prob 200- 250kg to above. Verado is heavier than both above donks from memory. What options does she have over the std boat? They can make a difference!
Cheers

Thanks guys,

I'm picking the boat up next week & will be taking it straight over a weigh bridge. I'm thinking it'll be around 2.8t dry.

Cheers Gazza
