Hi all has anyone ever bought parts for these reels. Reel was bought to do some jigging....hasnt been used much but has been on boat many times as a back up....gear box grease had solidified and a couple of the gears have stripped when i have gone to turn it. Pretty disappointing although i am not super fussy when it comes to maintaining my gear it has always been rinsed after being on boat whether it got used or not. Liked the reel for its strong and smooth operation when it was ok. Has anyone rebuilt one of these gearboxes before and where did you buy the parts....would be a shame to toss it for the sake of a gear or 2 that would be mass produced for a dollar somewhere. Any ideas?
