I have seen a sort of similar event, but the damage was to the trailer, a ramp we use down the coast had a very deep drop off, so deep, that the trailer frame would be sitting on the end of the concrete, but the wheels would be off the end "floating" this guy decided to get his mate in a 4X4 to tow him and the trailer out, they connected up the 4X and he got in his 4X4 and they gave it some gas!! all they did was rip the entire under carriage off the trailer, and it all sunk into the dark ooze mud and crap! was a sight to see the trailer skidding up the ramp, and the motor leg was not too flash after that. I had suggested that they take the boat off again and we would try to man handle the trailer up the step, but no......

What started out being a 100k makeover and maintenance just shot to 500k for the owner I guess......
Looks to be a non tidal lake too....
Anyone else notice that the main chassis does not come past the engine mounts???

Yeah I saw that, what the crap is . . .(was) the front bar fixed to ? wasn't the chassis so it wasn't ever a proper recovery point.
