Mark, Are you buying new or pre loved? I'm not sure how much the 532 costs now, as I last seriously looked at one 5 years ago. New was 32K with 90 etec no electronics..... I ended up spending 35K on a new 510 Ally"Plate" Safari cc with 90 Suzuki incl. simple electronics. Didn't take long to get sick of the flat pressed hull. I sold it & ordered a custom plate 17 deg deadrise 5.2 cc 45K with good electronics. Best move ever.
If your budget is greater than 35K I would try and find a late model pre-loved true plate hull.
The way you've kept the Haines tells me you are fussy with boats. You won't be happy with a production pressed hull unless you are staying inshore.
Have tried contacting Bigdonk? I think he has fished offshore from a 532 for a few years now.....
