Hey All, Thinkin about a Striper 1851 / 1905 centre console outboard! Should be the shot for a bit of close in reefies / mackerel weather permitting, or a few Barra in the dams! Does anybody have any experience with them? Cheers

Hey Scrotty, have a look on thehulltruth. Being an american boat, no doubt its characteristics would have been disected a million times on that website. You don't see a lot of them here.
Cheers

I have a striper mate, not apples with apples but the 26ft version is an absolute weapon :)

Gday mate, I have a seahunt 18 footer centreconsole (not the same but close). Great riding boat into the swell, very dry in anything under 20kts. >20kts definately will get spray as it has a flared bow. Does not appreciate a following swell but handles bay chop and most conditions exceptionally well. Go for it SCott
