Latest data from waverider buoys shows max wave heights about 8m and Hsig easily around 6m.
Wouldnt want to be in the trough between swells that size!
BTW, went for a drive earlier down to Cleveland point, and a quick tour thru the William St ramp carpark revealed several cars without trailers near the VMR building.
And couldnt believe that there was one car with trailer attached parked in the public carpark. Whoever they were, hope they are somewhere safe out of the wind.
But I have to wonder what the hell they were doing out on the Bay on a today like today:o. You would have to be mad to be out there on a forecast like we had:(
