Was lucky enough to be in a tackle shop in tokyo this week.
Picked up a 2010 certate 3000 at the usual rrp of about $360 ( dont we get a touchup )
The shop keeper said the new models will be in the case there next month and gave me a brochure.
They are all a little lighter ( only around 10g the new 3012 is 270g) . no 3000 in the new lineup , so smaller capacity.
The japanese is beyond me but the changes are essentially a mag sealed air rotor bearing (?) and full ZAION body with 10 + 1 bearings right through the range.
The rrp in japan is between about 400 and 450 dollars as the sizes go up. Interesting to see what happens to that by the time it lands here!
Cheers

Lookout those Pine River bass.

I picked up a bargin certate 2004 just before Xmas, only used it once but i love it. I have the shallow finess spool and thought about buying a larger spare spool......until I saw the price.
