Looking at getting one of these from the states (Deep Blue Yacht Supply) for my Suzuki DF 140 and wondering if anyone has got one or used one of these props or dealt with these guys.

Is there any difference in these props to the Solas props out here as I can get one delivered from the states for $380AUD or $650 same prop here in Oz??

Any feedback would be appreciated.

Absolutley no difference. Check out the freight costs for 2 and resell the second and make your keeper even cheaper.

G'day

Have just done what you hare contemplating for a Solas new saturn. $290 delivered VS $655 here. I'm all for supporting aussie businesses but ffs, that's rediculous.

I used boats.net this time, americanprop.biz is also excellent.

Good luck with that. I had no luck with the small diameter HR props and went back to the big diameter genuine Suzuki 3 bladers, they just worked better for my rig. I was able to try a lot of different props with the help from the local Solas guys and due to that kind of good service I would only buy my props locally.

I bought a genuine suzuki 14''x20 off -bay last year for my 140.........it was around the $350 delivered out of the US from memory, locally i was quoted around $850 if i purchased at the same time as the outboard.

I'm running a 13.75 x 20 merc trophy plus (4blade) after having tried various 3 and 4 blade props. I think it's worth a gamble but if you can try one first to make sure you're getting the right prop.

Where are you located? I think dicktracey on here has tried one of those props, I could be wrong tho its happened before, ask my wife lol

you need to absolutely know the one you are ordering in is the right prop

many people who play with props get surprised by how many props get tried till they find the sweet one for their boat

best if you can find someone with the same prop and borrow it for a water test

then you can feel completely confident importing one for yourself

Thanks guys, yah located in Kingaroy.

I have spoken to Solas in Oz and they will send a few different ones to try as want to change a few things to what I am getting out of the ally one on it at present so may be a trial and error scenario and can't do that from the states. May even try the 4 blader to see how it goes also.

Thanks for the feedback guys

Matty, I've got a gen Suzuki 15.5 x 17 3 blade stainless prop for sale. Its in 99 pc perfect condition (did about 4 hours with it) I'm chasing $400. If you pay the transport, you can try it and either keep it and flick through the $$$s or send it back. Let me know if you're interested.
