Hi Everyone,
I thought it may be of interest and possibly help to other Ausfish Members make this report.
Yesterday morning I visited a local business in Tingalpa called Brisbane Axles and Trailer Components.
I explained that I needed a new axle for my little single axle trailer.
A short conversation later, they could change the axle and springs, upgrade the wheels to hubs and alloy wheels, and 8 year old tyres to new light truck tyres.
Which is really what I wanted.
When...? Tomorrow.
And they did.
Only one day after I ask and it is all fixed. Even a brand new spare wheel as well.
Now I am confident to hit the highway to wherever.
I did not know such services existed for trailer repairs.
Trailers are often the 'sad' part of your rig.
If you approach that company politely and ask for a quote or engage service you might lose a headache or two.
Makes me want to go down th the boat ramp NOW!
