aluminum boat 4.4m hunter looks to nice to let it slide what would it cost to repair this transom old mate just welded a 8mm thick sheet over the old transom
i think the original problem was electrolysis

i emailed some pictures to a alloy welder ive used before he said minimum $2000-$3000 he mentioned he would remove the whole transom and weld on a new 6mm transom with ribbing
