Put up your best Fish for Jan. 2013

Its not a competition. Its an opportunity to showcase on Ausfish the different species we catch in the summer months.
Lets keep it authentic to the thread title. Im sure we will all appreciate the result.

My fish here is a lovely Yellowbelly I caught spinning Chinchilla on holidays on about the 3rd January. Its about 6 pound, and is a beautiful example of Condamine River fishing. I mostly fish saltwater off Cairns, but I love to go home and enjoy the river of my childhood.

I stayed at bribie island over the christmas new years break and got a couple decent fish..

Got a 38cm and a 27cm bream on a little reef up the passage on live yabbies, on the 1st Jan not a bad start to the year.
