Allison ocean angler

How good are Allison ocean angler 244 boats,anyone got one,any info appreciated.

A mate of mine has a 244. Loves it. He's had a lot of boats over the years in various configurations (cats, cruisers, fishing rigs etc).

He was looking to sell it a little while ago. Haven't spoken to him for a couple months so not sure what the latest is.

His has a near new Opti on the back of it and in Vic. Should be on Boatpoint/Boatsales.


Edit: just checked and it is on Boatpoint. 69K. New alloy trailer and 200hr old Optimax. It's a nice clean and tidy boat. Last time I saw it was about 3 months ago.

Mate has one in cairns. Has a 300 hp suzuki on it . Goes well but bangs a lot when going into chop!! Otherwise he seams happy enough with it.
