Bait fish and Billfish

Is this what I should be looking for when chasing Billfish, this was off the Gold Coast today did a few laps around it but no show

For sure mate but the water temp is too cold, need to look for 26deg + bait

you should have done some more laps.......
have you calibrated your temp with a thermometer?
coldest i got today was 24.3 off straddie, and yes there are plenty of fish in 24deg
