When I bough the Edgewater a couple of months back it came with a crappy BCF style baitboard so I looked around for a custom job and found "Baitmate" on the internet who are based SW of Brisbane. I rang and spoke to Rod the owner and asked if I could bring my boat down to get sized up. I left it there overnight after explaining to Rod what I was after and the next morning when I returned he had already welded up a basic frame so I could make sure the height and dimensions where right. Because it had to fit in the back right hand corner to avoid the OB it had to be spot on. One support needed to use an existing rod holder and the other support would need to be bolted to the existing seat but still be removable so the seat cushion could be re-attached when needed. I also wanted a deep pull out storage tray and a deep bait storage tub with a lift up cutting board lid. Just under 3 weeks later my custom board arrived at Noosa for fitting. A couple of bolts, some washers and some sikiflex and job done. As you can see by the photos, it's a ripper !!! Thanks Rod, another great local Aussie product at a great price. Cheers, Dave

If you buy a standard board or if you are able to draw up your own measurements you do not need to take the boat there.
Rod or I can post them directly to you if you wanted a standard board.

I had one made for each side with trays. Fantastic and light. No a problem at all.
