So ive been out and about running in the new yammy.
Sitting on 4000rpm i slowly brought up the trim and as i did i picked up speed, thats right you might say but it was at the max up on the gauge..at about half way on the gauge i was sitting on 32kph as i trimed up the speed increased to 37kph. I just thought i might have got max speed for that rpm at a lower trim setting.

whats your thoughts?

Higher trim = more speed until you reach blow out.

yep found where that happens too.
so there nothing wrong with doing that?, max speed for the revs, so im guessing thats when its running at its most efficient?.

Exactly that is the sweet spot this is where you want to run, start with the motor trimed in once on the plain and settled trim out and let the revs pick up, if you go out to far or you will here the prop cavitate, trim back in and leave it there until conditions change.

This is what I have found from playing around on nice days.

Have a play around when the weather allows, the more you play with it that better you get at it;)
