Hello All,
I was out yesterday up Jumpinpin way and it was very windy 25-30 knots easy.
My boat is a 4.3m Webster Twinfisher with a very large T-Top.
I was running beam-on in waves about two foot and as the boat rolled on the waves I felt that the wind on the t-top was threatening to push the boat onto its side.
She just didn't come back up as quickly as usual.
Fair enough considering that it was 30 knots on the beam.
If the wind was any stronger I would have taken the canvas off to reduce windage.
Has anyone else had this experience?
I have seen that a lot of North QLD boats have big shade awnings how do they go?
