Assistance and advice

Hi from a forum newbie. I'm after some assistance and advice to help me with some direction on a new "project" boat.
I have an 18' Stejcraft half cabin of unknown vintage that I recently purchased for a pretty good price. It is in need of a new trailer and outboard.

Firstly... how can I tell the year of the boat from the Hull Serial Number? I've googled a bit today and have found various websites that explain how to decode (for want of a better word), but none have helped with the serial number that I have. Is anyone familiar with the Stejcraft serial numbers and how to determine the year of the boat?
Hull Serial # AUACJ000422QTX

The previous owner wasn't sure of the year, but thinks it was early 80s.

The boat comes with an Evinrude 115hp engine, model # E115TLCSA - I think this is a 1980 model?

Anyone have a Stejcraft on here that has done restoration work on it and can offer some tips on things to look out for?

1980 motor, can't help with the hull.

mate its an early 80s model....
late 70s ones were flat sides...sharpers edges...
pretty sure mid 80s they changed to three front windows...side windows are different...
mate had the same boat...

Thanks for the info. I was thinking it was around early 80's for hull and motor.
