I haven't posted for sometime and that tells a story in and of itself...Sadly, my beloved Flamin Riptide is heading to the Northern Tropics of Darwin with a new Skipper.. I trust it serves Tony as well as it has served me...a hard day...:-[

. . . . . . and you are getting something bigger!? :D

or smaller?? :P

A good boat for offshore top end - I am sure it will be appreciated. ;)

Yeah, long story Trev... sadly, no, not upgrading, not down grading, and needed to stop the rot :(

Sorry to hear mate - that does make it a sad departure

I just finished looking at the fishing video Swano uploaded from out at the banks - looks like you have had some fun with it.

Your fine vessel was a bit of an ornament on here revs; hopefully you will replace it in kind before too long.

Yup. The graphics certainly had a bit of flair about them.

Hi Rhys,

Sad day mate you've had some great times in the old vessel. You are always welcome on my boat anytime. You've got my number. Let me know when you need a fishing fix.

Cheers

I'm sure the new owners will look after it like you have done Rhys.

Thanks fellas. Yeah, I sure am gonna miss the stink of that kill tank Damo! Damn boat had absolutely no bad manners, did everything exceptionally well, in all the time i owner her I never once came back to the ramp wishing I was in another boat! And some days, particularly those marginal days where the sea turned into a wind whipped washing machine, I was always damn thankful I had her and not some other tub under me. She was an absolute hotrod! Best sea boat I've ever been in.

Rhys, you know where it's heading for me, and whenever you are in my boat, you will be the Skipper. Onwards and upwards, ol' buddy. You'd better put us on the fish, the crabs, or the Bollinger, or you'll be in the shit!

Hi Rhys. I leave the forums for 5 minutes and.....

Think it was around 2006 when I was lucky enough to do 2 trips with you out to the Banks. Twas a pleasure and hope all is going well with you.

Is "the payment" for the 4 fishing trips still working?? lol
