Mustang 1500 Half Cabin Boats

Hello all,

I'm interested in knowing a bit more about those Mustang 1500 Half cabin boats as my old man found a good deal on Gumtree and bought it, I've been checking the internet about them and there isn't much info out there.

I just wanted to know what everyone's opinion on those boats, I've only taken it out once for a quick 1hr run on a very glassy morning.

What is it like in choppy waters?
Is there anything I need to know about those boats?

Hi mate

Hows the mustang going i just picked one up myself. nearly finished putting a new transum in it as it was rotton. been out in the passage a couple of times before we started the work on it and it seemed nice and stable but never got it out in any sort of chop.
Mine has a 92 4cyl merc on it.
i will be taking it out to some of the closer reefs though soon.
