Guys what sort of $$$$ do you pay for Boat insurance and is your trailer covered in that or is that different kettle of fish.:-?
are Boats/trailers the same as cars where you can have an agreeded amount?::)

My policy is for an agreed value of $37,600 broken down as Hull $22,100 + Motor $12,000 + Trailer $3,500.
I have a basic excess of $500 and my premium is with NRMA at $$560 annually.
I dont have any extras covered in the boat. (eg sounder)

Quintrex Dory with a 40hp merc.. $5800 value (though I do have to call to get that corrected. The leccy and the Lowrance Elite 5 should be additions, not inclusions).. Was $240pa, having made two claims back in 2009. Club marine.
48k includes all the goodies, epirb, soiunder, gps ect. just paid last week $704 Suncorp.
