yeah mate, i had one of those a few years back and it flew with a 25hp. It will rockets with the 40.
Used to take my across th Moreton Island.

A mates dad had one. He loved luderick fishing and when he fished wave break island he would drive it into the rock walls drop the reef pick where he could reach it later then reverse back out and drop the rear anchor. Hit it hard more often then not but the bloody boat was bullet proof. Just scratches on the paint . Wouldn't try that with a modern aluminium boat. Hope u enjoy it

The old Abs are very solid boats. I have done a lot of miles in them. They will shake your teeth loose but bring you home safely. Have fun in yours
