In this wind, flying a flag would give you right of way over power vessels wouldn't it? :)

Could be another five years before we hear any more about these flags.

Just out of interest.... How many mods are there?

I know of LP, the mysterious Mod5, and presumably Steve the Ausfish.

Any more out there?

I would say Steve has the call on this one not any other mod and it was a weekend he might have been be busy.

Post has been up for 16 days now. Not just the weekend. Looks like this is why it has failed to happen previously. Lack of interest from the owner.

Hi Steve. What was wrong with the $75 flags? We had quite a few members ready to buy.

Are we any further advanced with this now since ur last post on the subject? Looking forward to your reply. Thanks Peter

Sensational...but your soon to be millions can turn to billions if u dont forget the stubby holder approximately halfway along with a 3-4ft tube.
Beats my idea of recycling old 27meg aerials into baby outriggers for trailerboats. Hang on a sec :bulb2:...how about ausfish "hammockbragflags" that can also double as floating dolphin fish FAD's
Hmmmm yeahh nahh just ignore me...sorry, i'll get my hat :-X

Nowadays it's cheaper to throw out the old wheel and replace it with one from China

How many of us would display an Ausfish type pendent flag if one existed.

I thought of using the stickers but don't really have anywhere suitable to put them. So I thought of a one of those triangular flags, just interested who else would fly one.

Dont hold ya breath. but then again Rome wasnt built in a day!

Once the OS trip is over I am sure Steve will move forward with it. He has just stated he is waiting for samples which is the right thing to do to ensure quality control etc.

Who was the member that said he could provide the flags and samples? Perhaps now might be an opportune time for him to send some to Steve with an official quote. Let me check the earlier posts.

gruntahunta
23-11-2012, 06:54 AM
Calling DAKI23. Can you send Steve some samples as you said you had some flags in production in a previous thread on the flag subject?

I believe FISHFINDER said he had mates that could send samples as well, could you do this as well?

Is there anyone else that has the knowhow of mates that could send samples and prices? If we want this to happen we will have to be supportive and also proactive. Let's make it happen before Xmas peoples.

Can anyone do anything????

Hi Wayne. When Steve said they would be around $75 quite a lot said they wanted one or two. I am sure 100 would go immediately. Can you do them?

gruntahunta
27-11-2012, 08:05 AM
I will start a poll to see how many will buy a flag if they are up to $75.00 each. Should see if it is worth while for Steve to do it.
