You may have read a post or 2 of mine lately regarding my quintrex cuddycab reno. Had the relaunch today and seem to have what I think is not enough fuel getting to motor. I have not tinted with outboard at all during reno process and was running fine. At sea today when increasing revs to 3-4000rpm motor coughed and spluttered and revs would vary on their own. I did drain underfloor tank prior to welding job, have inline filter/ water trap, is it possible crap can get through this filter into motor. Squeeze primer on fuel line doesn't seem to fill fully as I think it should. Also could be one of two fuel tank breather hoses which may be kinked as i had floor up for job. Any advice guys on what I can do before taking to mechanic guys

Check the connections where the fuel hose joins the tank, could be a loose fitting allowing air in; or the suction inside the tank is partially blocked only playing up when more fuel is needed at higher RPM? Just a guess.
