Hi All,

Just thought it would be informative to show this clip on keeping you catch prime and the best the fish can be on the dinner table. We have been practing this method for a short time spiking but we bleed absolutely every type of fish that is kept. We have found this makes a hugh difference to the fish quality and also when filleting. We have noticed some fish to actually light up there colours when brain spiked eg coral trout light up there blue dots. Anyway enjoy the short movie.

J&W I have to agree with you
the only fish we don't bleed is whiting because the taste is almost the same but even trout and parrot with super clean flesh still benefit with bleeding
for reefies don't slit the whole throat, the simplest bleed is a knife spike both sides just in front of the peck fin in the white flesh before the gills
