I prefer 4 stroke personally but would like to know how the 150hp opti goes in a boat at this size for economy.

Gotta ask why 2.5k diff with an Opti vs Suzi 4 stroke. No mention of HP on the Suzi so might be underpowered if it is a 115 (which I suspect due to the cheaper price and no mention of h.p). If 140 then I would go with that and use the 2.5k for electronics. The other one has a small combo but better off getting a bigger set up with the extra cash. I like Duniber trailers too- not familiar with the Oceanic.
Both good motors- Opti will probably perform a bit better (hole shot and top-end) but I would prefer a Suzi (probably bit better on fuel).

Ozynorts,

we did have a comparison on fuel consumption on the yalta's a while ago, do a search in the boating forum and you should find it.

My fuel figures would basically be the same as what you are looking with the 140 zuke, however I have the smaller brother the 555hc (fisherman 2000). The Zuke 140 has no trouble on my boat and gets very good fuel economy.

Even the yam 115 saltwater series pushed my boat very well (bit thirsty tho).

Cheers Honda. I am waiting on a call back from Coastal about the boat ATM. I would think the 140 would be a good fit but I have also asked Bribie Boat Sales to get me prices on the other boat with a merc 150 4 stroke and a 150hp Verado.

Ozynorts they both look the goods. The Burleigh one shows a 200hp Suzuki in one of the shots...Plus doesn't have hydraulic steering. You'll feel that after a long day out.I'm biased of course and would go the Opti, but only if it had hydraulic steering. That $2k difference is right there with that alone. You have put some pressure on yourself with this selection. But you look like your enjoying yourself.Jim

The photo's in the Burleigh add aren't of the actual boat they are offering .
It's showing a 200 HP & Radar Fitted ?

Hi Mate,

Darren here from Coastal Powerboats.

I have a reply PM from you at approx 815 Pm yesterday saying Tim from Coastal Powerboats had already spoken to you yesterday before my PM, so I don' t understand the statement that nobody has contacted you?

Again, if you have any questions, contact me direct on 0420 997 499, or Tim on 0420 969 102.

The photographed boat is an example of what can be provided (as sold to a customer of ours), and the best pictures we have available to represent the product. Rarely do we sell the standard basic package advertised (it's a base to start from), as everyone's needs are different, and the boats can be optioned up to suit the individual customer.

Please contact me with any further questions.

Darren

Thanks Mate for clarifying.

Customer service is something we take quite highly, and to me it read that we were who the issues were with.

I just wanted to avoid any confusion.

Good luck in your search and contact us should you need further information.
