Fishing near Rolleston Qld

Well i will be stuck working out at Rolleston for about a month, anyone know of any where to go fishing or throw the pots in near by?? if so what species are out that way? Cheers.

Might be a bit far to travel, but yellowbelly are in the head waters of the Dawson and also and Lake Wugu Wugu. Both are south of Rolleston. the Dawson can be fished at the southern end of the Acadia Valley and the lake at the northern end!

Not really familar with that area, but after the floods there could be fish anywhere, we are catching good yella's in small pools/streams in the Roma area since the floods. There would be Toga's there as well.

The Comet river is only 500m out of town and I'm sure there is plenty there to catch.
