Hi Guys,
Thinking of getting another boat and have narrowed it down to two boats, Hydrofield 5m Awesome and Haines Hunter 17L. Which of these two boats are better riding? I 've been on a Haines 17L and thought that was pretty good and goes pretty well with a Mariner 125hp. Your thoughts would be appreciated.

Hi 125 mariner if not one of the worst motors around is definately in the grand final . Dont know your budget but if you look around for a 530classic HHor 530 breeze HH you cant go wrong never been in a hydrofield 5m heaps of 530, s around newer boat than 17L better built no rotted floors & transoms just go fishin just my own opinion Rod

Haven't you got a 565 Duckie? Two totally different boats the 17L and a tri. If you're after a later 17L look out for a seydel or a seadevil as well as the 530HH.

Hi JJ,
Yes I have got a 565L. Just dreaming a bit. Was thinking that the 5m Awsome might have a better ride than the 17L but then my 565L is no slouch. Have a mate that has a 540 Signature with a 140 Zuke that uses around 70L fuel round trip to DT and Manly so got me thinking.
