Top effort, how long did it take you to bring that monster of the deep on board?

Nice fish mate, makes the sandle look like a kids thong. Nice and fat too. Top effort. I really need to get out, quit sulking at home and go and get myself one. ;D

I fished quite heavy, with tld20 it takes less than 2 mins.

There have been some cracker snapper taken in close off the Tweed lately and that is certainly one of them! Been some good ones at Fidos as well.

May be I will try Fido next time. But first I must learn how to tackle to tweed bar. It is very bad compare to southport.

I did measure, it was 98cm. I don't have the weight of the whole fish but I know the head alone weight 9.7 lbs.

Carnster .... If I didn't know you I'd think you were joking right there - But I know you too well .... if Mudhole could guarantee you a big knobby, you WOULD be paddling out there (and probably in the dark too)

I just leave mine in the rod holder and let the wave do the job.
