we left brisbane at 9pm an drove to gladstone with 4 people on board taking us about 7hrs.On arrival we launched the boat and procedded thru the channel markers and around the islands and then travelled north for about 3hrs.We finally reach out spot with conditions being around that 15 knot s/westers most off the time for next few days occasionally reaching the 20 knot mark the first few days we pulled a few good reefies mainly parrot, hussar, coral bream, red throat emperor but we ended getting 4 big chinnamon fish, these fish are one off the best fighting fish we have ever caught always fighting hard and many times trying to get you into the reefs. We had a troll and managed to get a couple off spanish mackeral but also got a barracuda but the fun started again getting a few great big travelly ,first fish was lost in the reef the the second 2 we landed. We had too follow these fish and at times but still they we spooling the reels quicker than we were travelling.Second afternoon we found a school off reds which kept us busy for few hrs till dark .Third morning we awoke To the best day off the lot was around 10 knot and was very comfortableand proceeded to land more red and more reefies and then pulled the pin around 8am .The trip back to port was good most off the way but wind picked up making part off the way back sloopy still taking 3 hrs to get in
