Filled my tank up on the way home from last trip, parked her in the shed and have been waiting for a break in the weather.Went out to the shed on weekend and found fuel in the well in front of my etec. Wiped it up as best I could but couldnt take her out for a wash due to rain. I didnt want carpets and canopies wet they take to long to dry! My question is will the petrol damage the gel coat? It could have been there for up to two weeks.

Give the well a quick wipe out using a sponge with some dish washing liquid. If it has trained, a bit of light cutting polish should sort it
