Hi all
Received this on my mobile phone this morning----

Your mobile # has won 900,000 pounds in Publishers Clearing house (Giveawy No. 1830)
Email delivery details,age,occupation,email address/mobile # to pchmobile3@email.ua.

Now to think I would have to give my age and occupation for starters-- then delivery details--my address or bank details???

Do they think I am nuts-- SCAMMERS are all over these days and seems they will try anything.

The number it was sent from is 00353863662623--:-?

Thought of a reply but nothing i could mention on here.:-X

They can send SMS messages from Skype. It only costs them a few cents I think

I get one or two a week on the phone the email scams have settled down a lot now though.
Amazing how lucky we all are to get offers nearing the million dollar mark so often!!

My dad got one from the South African rugby union along similar lines. It only takes 1 dumbass a week to make it worthwhile. I think a lot of it now is identity theft with any cash as a bonus

you know there would be so many that would respond to this and have no idea on what the hell they are doing...

thats why you see stories on tv about someone being riped off all the time...

i get them all the time emails, txt, you get over it after awhile....

If they leave an email return address, I give them a name and address.
The Right Honourable ( fake name)
Head of Federal Police.
Parliament House.
Canberra.
Australia.
No idea if they get it, but it makes me feel good and no emails are returned.:D

A lot of these scams come from numbers in Britain. A lot of Nigerians emigrated there.

When I was living there a couple of years ago, one of them tried ripping them of for a vehicle they had on carsales. We ended up working out where they lived, was in Brixton which is a crap part of London. Went and knocked on the door and they denied everything but had really nice furniture etc.

A lot of the elderly get done by these but there's not much you can do about it.

Also, it's best not to respond to these messages, then they know there's someone using the number!
