HI all,

Wondering if someone knows of a manufacturer of galley/sink units? Hopefully someone out there sells 'off the shelf' type modular units (such as you can by 'of the shelf' bathroom vanities etc for home), but I cannot find one on google. I guess I'm using wrong search terms.

I'm trying to get an idea what a stand-alone unit (such as the modular units that are an option on the kevla-cats as i learned at the boat show on the weekend) is worth 'off the shelf' as opposed to having a fibre-glasser make one up custom. The KC unit was very nice with integrated fridge, sink and cooker - but the cost surprised me.

Anyone able to help?

Im looking at getting something similar to what your thinking done as a work / rigging station with a small sink, side tackle draws and with a hatch for generator storage underneath just havnt finalised a design yet
cheers

Yeah, that's the basic concept, finga (the flash one on the PC website, not the malley bin :) ). The KC version was more 'practical' and also incorporated the seat (which flipped down when you wanted to use the stove).

Drew, keep us updated on what you get done by those guys. I'll probably be chatting to them (or similar company) at some stage down the track unless an off the shelf unit is available I like. Would love to see what you have made and what it costs.

Cheers!

The older PowerCat ones had the fold down seats on both sides and a few other things I thought were practical.
Might be worth a call to them

Actually, this is sort of what I'm thinking. Bit bigger I guess to hold a 2-burner stove on top.
