Trophy's are 2.5 up to 23' I think, or if you have deep pockets Grady White's are also under 2.5

just a word of warning, DO NOT believe what the brokers in the US tell you about the size of boats, plenty get caught!

Up here in Queensland I did not have a problem with registering my Boston Whaler 235 it goes about 2.6 wide, the trailer is the only bit that was checked and it is on the max limit of 2.5.

it's never a problem till you get picked up by QT,or you are unlucky enough to have an accident on the road.
load width maximum is 2.5 m without having to comply with conditions,ie permit or flags etc

Trophy 2002, 2102 ( same as 2002 but later model) is under , the 23' Trophy is 2.59 so no go. As someone else said if you have deep pockets Grady White seafater 226/228 both under 2.5 mts.
If you buy one unseen don't believe the dealer on the trailer width, get the model number and check with the trailer builder,
I bought a new trailer for mine because the one the boat was on was 8'6" (2.59)
I have 2002 with a 200 Opti , can't fault the boat in any way, if 2302 was under 2.5 I would have on e of them, instead I bit the bullet and bought a G/W Seafarer 228 she on the way now, she has a 250 Yammie on the back and I will repower with a 250 Black.
The 2002 Trophy will go on sale when th GW gets here and is ready to fish.

Rhodesey, you can rego any size boat you like as long as the trailer is under 2.5 wide and under 4.5 t ATM ( you can rego heavier trailers but not worth the hassle). When it comes to towing it you need to stick to the state regs , like flags, lights and certain roads and times you can't use it.
