G'day

Does anybody know of anywhere in Brisvegas (preferrably Nth side) that services/repairs electric outboards. I have a bow mount Watersnake that must have a bad power contact. Every now and then it takes a while to get drive power to the unit however there's always power for direction. The only service centre for Jarvis Walker that I can find is in Sth Aus. I wouldn't make an electrician's you know what!

Thanks

When I bought my Blue Fin it had a 80lb bow mount which no longer turned, I contacted Jarvis Walker and the only authorised service centre is in Hervey Bay. My dad lives not too far from there so he dropped it off and once fixed it was returned to my brothers work at Murrarie by courier for $30. I'll look through my emails to try and get the name of the dealer up there.

Just had a quick look, if you contact Jarvis walker on (08) 8244 8790 and speak to someone there, I was dealing with Mark Maundrel, not sure if he is still there or not. When I had mine fixed (it was a while ago) they offered to arrange a courier to pick it up and drop it back regardless of location in brisbane for a fee of $60. The above number is for the JW spare parts and service centre.
