Decided on a quick solo trip out the front Tuesday morning with the Weather so good over the weekend.Left the boat ramp at 1.30am in the bluefin through north entrance to find flat seas.Quick run out 19 nautical miles to my mark with plenty of bait showing up.First drop on a drift up comes a nice Nannie so back over and throw out the pick.
Next 3 hours a steady stream of fish came abord untill daybreak.Fish caught were Nannies, just legal red, grassies, spangled emp, hussar.Got a bit of unwanted exercise with 2 chinaman about a meter>:( but all good fun.The biggest Nannagi went 74cm so it makes the red look like a sardine.;D.

Very nice haul mate. We went out to Wistari on the sunday night for an overnighter and picked up 10 trout 5 redthroat a few spanglies and about a dozen mixed reef fish and the cobe so there must be a few fish around every where at present.
the mrs and the young bloke went up the caliope and he picked up a nice mullet in the cast netand it was covered in that red looking like rash that the sharks and barra have been coming up with.
Thanks for the report
