20 hp Mercury info.

Hi Ausfishers

I have just got a quinny explorer that is powered by a two cylinder merc. the engine has 20 hp stickers on the leg and RX28 on the cowl the engine has red silver and grey stripes on the leg and cowel and the serial number is OD266656 can any ausfishers identify this engine for for me ?

What year is it ?
What hp is it (20 or 28)?
what prop should it be running?

Are thay a good engine or do they have troubles?

The OD266656 makes it a 1993.

The RX28 comes up as a leccy.

Maybe someone has stuck some spare stickers on it?

You should prop it to achieve max RPM at WOT.

All Mercs are good engines.

I was wearing my Googleboy hat when I found some of the info above but it's a start I guess.
