Bruce Claw SS copy

just wondering if anyone uses one of these Stainless steel Bruce Claw copy anchors ?
Would a 7 kg anchor of this type be any good for a 24 foot fibreglass boat? [ for use between Hervey bay and 1770]

Anchor threads are quite numerous, especially with UK based forums, and the consensus is the original Bruce was ok (just) but the copies are rubbish.
Hard to beat a quality plough (Manson) or a Delta for general anchoring.

Yeah I have seen pics of the cast copies snapping ,just wondering about the SS being as bad.If the originals where only just OK then there's not much hope with the copy being any good regardless of the material it's made of.
