Gathering of boats off Pt Danger 08:30 14/04/2012

Hello to All,

does anybody know anything about the gathering of boats off Pt Danger this morning at about 08:30.
Was it a rally of sort?
Were there lots of fish?

inside the bar or off shore? would off been swell with a run out tide at that time can be a very ordinary bar to cross at times. the bait grounds are just out the front to the north may of been getting bait ......there is a game fishing comp on this weekend out from the goldy they may of been fishing that as well...cheers mick

They were all the support boats for the Gold Coast Outrigger Cup.. I was in the middle off it all...

It is a great thing to do to be a supporter of these events.
Were you a support boat or just spectating?

I was a support boat for the Port Maquarie team. I have been doing it for 4 years, it very tactical and fun. This year we came first for mixed masters.
It was bloody bumpy out there this year which made even more challenging.
